none of my apps work now in ver 29. i have rolled it back 3 times to ver 28 but even though i unchecked the auto update feature it still seems to update to 29 on its own. how can i stop this? or do i have to start using IE again? which is the exact reason i was using fire fox to start with. this 29 ver mimics chrome browser and I think chrome is not user friendly and too complicated to find and save bookmarks in. so please tell me if there is a way to keep version 28 safley, and if not i am going to try the new netscape browser and see if i can do business with that instead. thank you. Hi Bill,

Thank you for trying the new Firefox. I'm sorry that you’re unhappy with the new design.

Firefox is a work in progress and your feedback is very important to us. Our support community is run by volunteers (like me) who work hard to help all Firefox users, but we can’t make changes to the design ourselves. Please help us improve Firefox by leaving feedback where the designers and engineers can see it: https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback.

Here are a few suggestions for restoring the old design. I hope you’ll find one that works for you:

Or if you want to go back to a previous version, completely feel free to use the old, unsupported, and insecure versions of Firefox. Please remember that this puts your machine and personal data at an increased risk. You may then wish to mitigate that by having well rehearsed bare metal restore strategies or using a virtual machine.

Note:Please remember to be wary of what sites you download from as they may advertise Firefox 22 for example and package it as a Beta, RC, or other pre-release version and may have malware/adware or other unwanted items.

There has been no new version of a Netscape browser for over six years now as their last version Netscape 9.0.0.6 was based on the Firefox 2.0.0.x at time.

If you were referring to the even older Netscape suite then the closest thing on it that is still active is SeaMonkey.

The idea of using Classic Theme Restorer sounded great till I installed it. It totally messes up other addons I use such as Colourful Tabs and Tab Mix Plus. I lose all my colours, the title bar has great gaps in it and the close tab button is half hidden by the tab icon instead of acting as both.

Please, please can we have a version back that can be configured as we want it rather than needing an extra addon that screws everything else up?
