when i open a few websites, this page keep apearing saying to update my adobe flash player. when I tried to block it using adblock, then it change their website address to something else, but keep showing to update my flash player... it is so annoying because when i tried to go back one page, then it came back to this page..

hello anisehamzah, this sound like an issue with malicious software that is already present on your pc and triggering these false alerts. please perform all these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
