Since updating my firefox on my laptop ( not this pc ) to 35.01 my entire browser is messed up.

Some of my extensions dont work anymore , but they are still suitable and available for the 35.01 version. Flash is totally trippin'. Add ons i didnt installed earlier are now in my extensions list without me ever downloading them?

i allready did the basic troubleshooting but even in safe mode and with all extensions disabled its still one big chaos.

Hey gustnlx,

Can you provide a bit more detail on what's not working?

You mentioned seeing Add-ons you didn't install... that makes me think malware might be involved. You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I personally have found MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware to be very effective.

Thanks, Curtis
