I set "Tiles" for my new tabs. It used to come on for my new pages as well, but now it is not. How can I get Tiles to be my default new page?
I don't see any instructions for making Tiles my default NEW PAGE. I see plenty of information about making my default NEW TAB PAGE. How do I get it for my default NEW PAGE also?

The "address" of the new tab page is about:newtab in case you need to type or paste that into the Preferences dialog (Startup, home page, tabs, and download settings).

Hello there! as i am understanding you are talking about the Default "Home Page" That you are wanting. Which is the page that comes up whenever you start your browser or click on the home button. Follow the instructions here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page and insert the desired page link in here to set it as default home page. Please let us know if it worked.! Thank you.
I understand how to set the default home page. Unfortunately, I cannot set it for Tiles. When I open a new TAB (not a new page), it goes to Tiles, and there is no URL in the bar. So there is nothing I can copy to put into the Default Home Page. When I leave the default home page box blank, it automatically fills in "Mozilla Default Home page' which is a terrible page!
How do I get TILES for my default home page?
You can check the browser.newtab.url pref on the about:config page and set that pref to your preferred new tab page.
- the default new tab page with the tiles is about:newtab
- the default home page is about:home
- for a blank page you can use about:blank
The browser.newtabpage.enabled pref should be set to true to use the page set via browser.newtab.url as the new tab page.
