FF will not load pages and I must shut down and restart for it to work if I leave it alone for a while.

If I am working online and leave for a few hours and then come back and go to open a new tab or even reload an existing tab or go to a new website using an already open tab, the only thing I get is the "spinning circle of death." I then must exit out of FF. Then when I go to reopen FF I get a window that says FF is still open, even though it is not and do I want to shut it down, so I click yes. Then I am able to reopen FF, but always get a message that says my user profile cannot be loaded properly, so I have click on that and reopen a second time. Then it finally opens and I am able to work fairly well until the same problem happens again.

I am really not sure what changed, but I never had this problem, I could leave FF open for days and come back and then open a new tab just fine and begin working again.

Usually a few hours or over night. Never used to have this problem. I have google chrome as a back up and it doesn't happen there.

Also I notice certain web pages, specifically my bank, don't let me do certain things anymore when I use FF but will if I use another browser

Someone else suggested it might be something with the scripts but I have no idea what that means.
