I need to install an add-on to generate a TOC (for web development purposes). I've installed 3 different add-ons: HTML5 Outliner; HeadingsMap; & Table of Contents. Firefox told me that each of these installed successfully; and they each appeared in my list of Add-ons. However, there was no button in the toolbar for any of them. I looked in the Customize Toolbar section, in Menus, etc. The only one that showed up in a Menu was the HeadingsMap.

HTML5 Outliner uses the SDK widget and support for that component has been removed, so the extension is broken.

You can try this website instead.

Hi cor-el, Thanks for those tips. I've bookmarked that gsnedders site - it looks really useful, thanks. And, that's great to know re the HTML5 Outliner not working properly anymore. I'm currently learning more about outlines as part of a course by the W3C I'm doing (via edx.org). The tool you suggested will be useful. Michelle  :)
