How to receive the emails sent by my co-workers from the same account?
Me and my co-worker are using the same email accounts of our company, to provide customer support for our clients (support@ orders@ office@ etc.) We are both using Thunderbird.
The problem is that we can't keep track of the emails I have answered to, or the ones that my partner has answered. So, until now, we had several undesired situations in which we replied our same customers twice.. (me and him)
Is there a way to make Thunderbird save on server and then receive from server the messages Sent by everyone? Like we would use the webmail: there, we would both see what messages have been replied to. Here we can't see what was answered by others... how to do this? Is there an add-on or setting for this ?
Thank you very much and regards!

It's an IMAP account (?) You can move answered mail to a new folder on server
You can place your replies in same folder as message (see pic) You can bcc yourself (see pic) Pic is from Account settings / Copies & Folders
If you just want to read whats sent, right-click on account and subscribe to that folder

I think I get your point, it sounds like we could try and it may work.
But nevertheless, this is not like a "co-working mode" feature I was hoping for. In which Thunderbird would act like a webmail, but locally. Maybe Mozzila team should think about it: When 2 or more people work with the same group of emails. It would require some auto-save sent, and auto-receive sent mails for each user of the group.
Thanks for the answer though ... I'll give it a try.
In an IMAP- account mails are kept on the server. That's the point of using IMAP instead of POP.
T-bird is a client that view those folders. T-bird collects headers and keep them (and any mail you open) in cache on your pc. You don't have to keep any mails locally, UNLESS you chosen to download and keep a copy. Or setup Tbird to always keep a copy.
Auto-save sent etc were would it go?
- To the server? Its already there if you have a normal setup.
- To your coworkers Tbird? She already has it in her view of the servers sent.
- Outside of the server? To your co-workers pc? I shouldn't say its impossible, you can share files between users in a work-group but I doubt it will be useful.
