Firefox HTML5 lags on youtube and twitch

more options

I'm temporary use Intel HD4400 integrated video and I'm having "slowdown" issues while watching high quality html5 video on youtube, twitch and especially trailers on the imdb. I never had any issues when I used normal card. I tried to reinstall browser, tried to reset it without any success. However I do not have any issues with flash... The problem only appear with HTML5 video. I don't believe that i need something more powerful than Intel HD4400 to simple watch video. I'd call it bullshit.

I don't have tried any newer integrated Intel video card, but from my previous experience (4 years ago), they were really slow.

So if you have any problems with audio/video in Firefox, please see Fix common audio and video issues. It can be also caused by older Intel drivers or worse compatibility with Firefox hardware acceleration, which can be troubleshooted according to this article.
