Can not access file removed by Firefox

I need to reinstall the files firefox deleted to speed up my computer. A notice "Firefox is starting slow. Allow Firefox to remove some files to speed up." was shown after startup. The further info said I would be able to reinstall all needed information. I am not able to open any of the needed files, reinstall Yahoo toolbar and other things because it is blocked by Firefox, access my previous Downloads etc. I have to be able to access the files Firefox removed! I am using Windows Vista.

What is your computer system and Firefox?

I take it you used the refresh option?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
