I am having issues opening most documents in my Google Drive from Firefox. When I click on a document in my Google Drive, it would say 'Trying to connect' and nothing would happen. I scroll up and down the document, but cannot work on it.

I have tried to reinstall Firefox, refresh it. Remove the cookies and cache. Work in Privacy mode. None of these have worked. I do not have add-ons, except Ad-Blocker.

I can work on my Google Drive documents without issues in Chrome, but I loathe to change my browser.

If anyone has any ideas, please help!

Thanks!!

Do you have an antivirus that could be blocking a connection for gdocs? Here is a list that need to be allowed: https://support.google.com/a/answer/2589954?hl=en

If that is not the issue, I might also try any firewall or network settings, (any vpn or operating system settings that may be blocking Firefox?)

I hope this helps.

Thanks so much, guigs! I will look into the the antivirus. The thing is I have had all my antivirus and vpn etc in place long before the problem appeared. I had been using gdocs on Firefox without issue until just recently (a couple of weeks ago).

The problem seem to pop up when I updated to the most recent Firefox and I may try to downgrade to see what happens or wait until the newest version of Firefox is released.

Thanks again!
