I have other hotmail accounts that tbird accesses without any problems, however on one account it takes an extraordinary amount of time to retrieve/send messages. The message may appear in the inbox, but is won't open, the number of messages turns from blue to black while waiting. On sending tbird is unable to copy the message to the sent folder. I cleared out over half the messages in this hotmail account, both send and receive. Gmail messages show up immediately and there is no problem copying to sent folder, same for an att.net email account.
