I used to be able to keep sound muted in Firefox by opening the Windows volume mixer and muting it. Now, I can still mute it but after a restart it comes back unmuted. It didn't use to do that before. How do I keep Firefox from unmuting itself? I have version 57.0.1 64 bit. I'm not sure which version this behavior started, but it was just before this version.

Hi, this issue might be caused by the new multiprocess architecture. If you believe this to be a bug, you can file a bug report at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org -- Once there you will need to make an account. When registered please see the documentation for bug filing to help get you started.
