I have been trying to create a Firefox account without success for many months. I tried many different version, device and OS. Finally today I noticed that I could create an account via the Tor Browser. Then to be able to sync my devices I have to login via a Tor proxy and enable sync for each devices otherwise it still doesn't let me signing. After all this is done I can disable the Tor proxy and now I can signing and sync normally. I think the error message “blocked for security reasons” could be a little bit more descriptive since I am developer and even looking at the debugging console and network traffic I could not figure out what the problem was.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Ya, a lot of not being able to log in everywhere. Glad you got fixed. Unique way but worked.

I thought the problem was fixed but it is not the case. At least now with sync enabled I get more descriptive logs. I will probably setup my own sync and account server to fix the issue. I am leaving the logs here and will probably post them also later to the right channel.

Here is the log file.

EDIT: I had the wrong Firefox profile loaded. This profile was setup had the "identity.sync.tokenserver.uri" modified to point to my server that has not account setup yet.
