Some of my main folders (the German names are Posteingang, gesendet, entwürfe & Papierkorb) i.e. input, sent, drafts & trash appear under my email adress and under local folders. The actual filenames are the same e.g. inbox but witha differnt subdirectory. They apear to be used irradically. For example deleted mails go to one or the other trash folder. I find this confusing and would prefere to use only one of each. It would make seaching for foregotten mails easier. Example below:

mailbox:///C:/Users/Pimm/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/00cqr409.default/Mail/mail.htp-tel.de/Inbox mailbox:///C:/Users/Pimm/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/00cqr409.default/Mail/Local Folders/Inbox

You get certain folders as standard, (e.g. Inbox, Sent, Trash, Junk, Drafts) and you get one set of these for each account. You have two accounts:

htp-tel.de Local Folders

and so you have two of each of the standard set of folders.

I have eight accounts, so eight Inbox (etc) folders.
