bold text I continue to receive the following message when I try to access my Yahoo email account:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to guce.yahoo.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

This was occurring for a couple of weeks before the 84.0.1 update and continues now. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. (Screenshot attached)

Just curious, but why is the guce in front? You can't just go to yahoo and login?

something automatically adds the guce when it's processing the url. Some superficial research has told me it's some new advertising thing from google or something. I tried to bypass it with an online suggestion but it didn't work.

What happens when you go to google first, then search for yahoo, and then click on the link for yahoo?

Same results.

Just did a search for this ---> How to get rid of gucedotadvertisingdotcom You need run malwarebytes or some other app to get rid of the adware.

Running Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner did not work. Digging deeper on google I found this site: https://www.2-spyware.com/remove-guce-advertising-com.html#h-mozilla-firefox

After scrolling for a bit down the page There were links specific to the browser or OS you wish to remove guce from. After following all the steps listed for Firefox I finally achieved success! (pic attached to show the links)

Thank you for your assistance.
