I hope someone can help me with this problem. I own the domain "cpaaffiliatesnetwork.com" and the site serves as my business site and access to my business network platform. The site is SSL secured and the SSL certificate was renewed in February 2021 for 1 year. Since the SSL renewal, I started having issues accessing the site from any browsers installed on this computer (Edge, Firefox & Chrome). I have now managed to fix the display issue in both Edge & Chrome through clearing cache / history, BUT, I have tried the same with FF with no success. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but, still receive the error below for any attempt to access the site: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.cpaaffiliatesnetwork.com. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

All external people i have asked to check the site have confirmed it works fine for them, but, it will not work for me. Hoping someone has a suggestion many thanks in advance :)

Your CA issued a CRL revoking your site's SSL certificate. You should contact your CA about this situation.

Firstly, I tried accessing your site with several different browsers with similar results. FF, Edge, and IE: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE Chrome, and Brave: OK

Secondly, I performed a force-update on CRLSets on both Chrome and Brave and then tried again. FF, Edge, IE, Chrome, and Brave: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

That explains why your external contacts could access without problems because their CRLs were not up to date.

Thirdly, running your site through other online tests show that your certificate has indeed been revoked: Certificate Revocation Check SSL Server Test

Hope this helps!

Thanks strafy, I appreciate the reply. I assume "CA" would be the certificate issuer? in this case, GoDaddy? This problem has been ongoing and I've spent 3 separate sessions with GD support trying to fix this problem. In my last session with them (end last week), I requested they actually remove the SSL from the domain to see if that reverts back to non-secure and would then be working for me (and it seems, everyone else), then, i planned to reassign the SSL certificate to the site and hope it continued to work. Problem is, as you seem to have confirmed, the site is still SSL, though, the errors indicate the cerificate has been revoked, which GD Support advise is not the case. This is incredibly frustrating. Based on your reply (which, i confess, i dont fully understand), it seems the issue is with the site and SSL certificate assignment, not my pc's or browsers.

Yes, you're correct. It's not a browser-specific issue but rather your website having a certification issue due to GoDaddy revoking the certificate, thus preventing anyone from visiting the website.
