Hi Howard, bookmarks are stored together with history in a database file name places.sqlite (it has a companion named favicons.sqlite). You can copy these two files out of your currently active profile folder. See this article for more info on accessing that folder: Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
