I have google set up as my home page and it takes 30-60 secs to load after opening the browser while in chrome it loads instantly. Same thing happens to youtube sometimes. This always happens after I turn on my PC. I have no problems with other websites. They load instantly. This started after the last firefox update. After this 30-60 sec loading period the problem dissapears.

I turned off hardware acceleration and it didn't help. I have no extensions installed, except adblocker and turning it off didn't help either. I cleared my cache and still no luck. In fact I have just reinstalled my windows so there is nothing on my PC that could cause trouble in any way.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
