Hi, does this affect all web pages, or only certain sites? I ask that because on some sites, their print button generates and delivers a PDF file instead of using the built-in print feature.

Within Firefox's print dialog, you will be asked to save a file if you choose a PDF printer such as "Save to PDF" or "Microsoft Print to PDF". Normally, you won't be asked to save a file if you choose a physical printer but if you use the link for the System Dialog down near the Print button, there may be a "Print to file" checkbox checked in that dialog you can uncheck.
