Mozilla Crashes at Startup
Every time I open Mozilla browser, it crashes right after it opens.
This only started happening since recently. Before this, I haven't faced this issue while using this browser for year(s)
I have failed to resolve the issue with the following methods:
- Updated Firefox
- Tried to use Troubleshoot Mode (crash still happens)
- Uninstalled Firefox, deleted additional files and re-installed
- Did Refresh
Other browsers are working fine
I am using Razer Blade RTX 2070 Max Q, VR Ready Graphics (8GB GDDR6 VRAM) 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H Processor 6 Cores/12 Threads, up to 5.0GHz

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
- On the keyboard, press [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a Run window that contains a text field.
- In that text field, type %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
- From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
- Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
- Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your time and quick response. There is no 'submitted' to double click on.
What should I do? I have provided a screenshot for clarification.
If i double click 'events', it is empty inside.
Windows home or pro? If pro try this option and see if you have the same issue. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/ What security software are you running?

Windows 11 home. Using Windows Security
I assume you got Firefox from Mozilla and not MS store. Just to verify, what version of Firefox are you running? Does it happen under a different windows user account? If you don't have another user account just create a test user. Just a conspiracy theory of mine... When Firefox crashes, look in the Taskmanger processes and see if Edge is running even though you didn't click on it. If it is, kill it and try Firefox again. ;-))
You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.
See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022":
Download the latest vc_redist.x64 and vc_redist.x86 files.
You need to reboot the computer.
