I hope you're doing well. I'm a faitthfull supporter of mozzila and thunderbird, so happy to have the app thunderbird now - thanks for that :) I'm using thunderbird to access my outlook adress since years. But, few weeks ago I can't send mail anymore (still receiving it) via thunderbird. Hi,

I've this message error :

"Message failed to send. Unable to authenticate on outgoing server (SMTP). Please check your password and “Authentication method” in the “Account settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)” menu."

  • I checked and change passwords few times, uninstall and restinall on android and windows
  • Activated and disactivaed 2FA authy, without success
  • I can receive the mail but cannot send it
  • My other mail adress (disroots, hotmail) are working normally

Here details Description: Outlook.com (Microsoft) Server name: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 User name: xxxxxx@outlook.fr Authentication method: OAuth2 Connection security: STARTTLS
