TAB Closing is slow when clicking on X
I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.11 & Firefox version 3.6.8. Ever since I upgraded from Firefox 2.something closing individuals has been slow when I "click, click, click, click, click, click," as fast as I can. On Firefox 2.something, each click closed the tab as fast as I could click. On 3.something it seems to need to wait for a second or so to focus ( or something ) on the tab, before recognizing my clicking on the tab. Closing individual tabs works fine, as do all the features that Tabmixplus gives me. I've tried disabling Tabmixplus & all my other addons, to no avail.

Can you please try it in a new (temporary) Firefox profile and see if the issue is still present? See this article to know how to create a new Firefox profile. Please report back the results.
I've just created & tested a new profile. I created 20 tabs and it took 40 clicks to close them.
You may have a problem with sessions restore with writing the closed tab info to sessionstore.js in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Cor-el, thanks that seems to be heading in the right direction. BUT, in the Main Preferences panel under Startup, I changed the "When Firefox starts" from "show my homepage" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time". And upon restarting Firefox it reverted to "show my homepage" and wouldn't even allow me to change this option. Uninstalling TabMixPlus & reinstalling it fixed the ability to change between "show my homepage" and "Show my windows and tabs from last time". AND the problem is still present. I'm using version 0.3.8.2 of TabMixPlus. I don't know if it helps or not. In the TabMixPlus Session settings the Advanced "Minimum time interval between two state saves" value is 10000 milliseconds and the "Maximum amount of POSTDATA to be stored" is zero bytes.I haven't changed them
