after Firefox udated, ALL the options in the tool bar disappeared?? I cannot find the "edit" tab to allow flash to update
I no longer have a tool bar at the top of my firefox page. Firefox cannot download the new flash player plugin and I do not know very much about computers, so I do not know where to look to find the tool bar??? After Firefox updated, it said to down load the flash plugin by using the edit button in the tool bar, how do I get it back?

To install Flash ignore the instructions about edit options, I find it easier to use the manual installers to install Flash. For details see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#main_ManualInstaller
Is your menu bar missing? If it is see menu bar is missing for details of how to restore it.
You should update your old "Java Plug-in 1.6.0_07 for Netscape Navigator" as well.
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.
- Java Plug-in 1.6.0_07 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)
Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

I have my menu bar back, thank you. I am so confused as to what order to down load the flash and java Do I go in and remove the old ones. What plug-in am I looking for. If there is more than 1 to choose from I need to know which one. I have the adobe 10 in my down load folder, BUT I have not run it. The other person, cor-el, said I needed to update Java as well??? Which one do I do first and EXACTLY which one do I down load? I am very concerned that I will crash my computer........
I have installed the newer version of Java and tried to install the 10.1 of Flash player, but it is saying Mozzilla will not allow, and I cannot find where the tool bar has a firefox, allow option? How do I get it to download? Do I open my web browser with Internet Explorer?
If you use the manual installers for Flash as shown in my first post there is no need to look for the allow option in Firefox.
