I was still able to use the internet on my laptop through Firefox until for whatever reason it just stopped working. The page just says "unable to connect" and I tried doing all that it says, even waitingfor about 5 hours now to try to use it again. My network connection is working as I am able to skype with my sister and is currently uing Internet Explorer to type this. I also tried turning off both the proxy and firewall to see if anything would work. Nothing happened.

Firewalls don't turn off when you turn the user interface off. You need to figure out how to allow Firefox thru your Firewall.

Locate your Firewall here, and follow the instructions.

Thanks for the reply! I actually figured out which firewall was blocking it about 10 min or so after I posted this. I thought it was my computer's built in firewall, but it turned out to be my McAfee firewall that was blocking it.

Firefox not working , just keep on spinning with the text connecting , after my laptop resumes from sleep or from hibernate , The issue started after the latest update , In order to make the firefox work again i need to kill the running firefox instance from taskmanager and start it again, Its like a pain every time . Firefox version 10.0.2
