Does Firefox 3.6 support a Mac OS X 10.3.9 system?

Every time I try to update Firefox 3.6 the file seems to download and then nothing happens. I click on the icon and I get a note saying the file is corrupt. Is this because I am using a Mac operating system OS x 10.3.9 (I have had no trouble with Firefox 2.0)

I don't have Netscape Navigator installed...never need it.

Firefox 3.6 does not suppot Mac OS 10.3.9. It supports 10.4 and above.
Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last version that runs on OS X 10.3.9.
See Firefox 3.6 system requirements and Firefox 2 system requirements.
You can try other browsers like Opera 9.
