I just added the update to fix my pogo problem and included the flash update. However, when i try to play a pogo game i get a gray screen in the play area and white screens in the who's here and chat areas. then the game window crashes and i get the same error message from pogo. TRY ANOTHER FIX!

You can try:

  • Control Panel > Java > General tab > "Network Settings...": "Direct Connection" (enable)

If you have the Java Quick Start extension and Java Console extensions installed then try to remove (uninstall) them, you do not need them to run Java applets.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions

Disable the Java Quick Starter extension: Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions

  • Control Panel -> Java -> Advanced tab -> Miscellaneous -> Java Quick Starter (disable)
