Firefox crashes at startup
I updated Firefox to the latest version and it crashes every time I try to restart it. It looks like it's trying to load my tabs and then it abruptly crashes and tells me to report the problem, which I did repeatedly but it never loads. This extremely frustrating since I was using Firefox as my exclusive browser and have lots of bookmarks in it. I tried to unload the program and reload the earlier version but I couldn't find an earlier version anywhere. I really don't want to be forced to use Internet Exploder instead!

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? You can do this by holding down the Shift key while Firefox is starting. If it starts in Safe Mode, you should check out Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems. There are also lots of good troubleshooting steps in the Knowledge Base article Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly).
Hopefully this helps!
Thanks Matt. Interestingly enough, I was going to try your suggestion today when I fired up Firefox...but then I discovered that when had I uninstalled FF and downloaded it again and reinstalled it yesterday, it seems to have fixed itself by the time I went to start it up just now today...strange, but happily true! There are minor issues like icons from site tabs not showing up, but I can live with them as long as the essential functionality is working. Thanks for your help, though! Maybe what I did will help another of these people who have / had a similar experience.
That is a problem with Roboform.
You can try to update to Roboform 7.6.2

Uh, RoboForm? What?? What's that have to do with Firefox crashing? I already have the latest RF and that wasn't the issue at all. It was a Firefox problem, not a RoboForm one. After uninstalling and reinstalling as I mentioned earlier, I'm not experiencing any problems now.
