I updated firefox yesterday and when I sign on for banking, the gold lock security key on the lower right corner does not show.

How do I know a site is secure if the gold yellow lock is not showing when I sign on to a site. Since I updated Firefox yesterday, it stopped doing that.

We no longer you a lock icon to note a secure website because it's too hard for malicious sites to fake that. Instead we have a colored button to the left of the website's address. You can read more about it in this article - Site Identity button.
