firefox 10 crashes when I try to print a page from nytimes.com save-to-file pdf
I've saved-to-file as pdf hundreds of pages from nytimes.com. Beginning with firefox 10 firefox crashes. I can save-to-file as ps format, but the saved file is either blank or partial. I load opera now to do this.

What are you talking about? Firefox exits on its own recognizance, 'Mozilla Crash Reporter' starts and tells me that Firefox has crashed. By the way, it happens on this page as well. I just tried it.

The Extensions section in your Crash Report shows that you were using some extensions your Firefox Crashed. Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Please ask a new question and provide the requested information.
I removed all plugins and extensions and upgraded to 10.0.1. The crash still happens

Note on "Save as Type": I don't think you can (correctly) Save a File in any file format if that file-type is not provided in the "Save as Type" drop-down file-types list.
I just tried to save a webpage as pdf file from nytimes.com by specifying the .pdf suffix to the filename but (obviously) it didn't open and showed me:
- Error Message1 (screenshot1) when i tried to open it in Firefox using File Menu -> Open
- Error Message2 (screenshot2) when i tried to open it using Adobe Reader.

Well, Firefox 10.0.1 works. I now filed a bug report with the fedora team responsible for my firefox package. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=789879 Thanks for your support.
Good of you to file the bug and glad to hear its working with 10.0.1.
