I usually key in a letter in the send window of my e-mail and all contacts with that letter show up. My contacts tab shows I do have contacts, yet no contacts appear in the send box. My e-mail is att.net. In windows explorer my contacts do appear in the send box. This problem started at 4 p.m. yesterday. How can I get my contacts to appear in the send box of my e-mail in firefox?

You can check the form history settings.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember search and form history"

The website may be using autocomplete=off in that field to prevent Firefox from saving and filling that data.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save form data.

I checked and the autofill form was set to the default true. When I press the contacts tab , I have 24 contacts. When I am in the send to e-mail box and I press + or add contact it shows that I have no contacts. So, the send box cannot find my contacts list.
