FF13/14 Default Theme not working with TabMix Plus?
UPDATED: Please read down to my second post submitted in response to information supplied by Andy.C…
Firefox 14 breaks Tabmix Plus functionality that permits one to double-click the tab bar to open a new, blank tab. Instead, and with Tabmix Plus properly configured, double-clicking the FF14 tab bar causes the browser to be displayed in full-screen mode; double-clicking the tab bar again returns the browser to non-fullscreen mode.
The problem is NOT Tabmix Plus: The extension works fine. Note, too, that the problem still exists after tracking down and installing tab_mix_plus-0.4.0.3pre.120719a.xpi.
FF's frequent updates "for security purposes" should NOT break UI functionality…

I updated Firefox to 14.0.1 yesterday 18/7/12 and have had no problems with double clicking the tab bar to open a new tab, which of course means that neither Firefox or Tab Mix are to blame!!
Okay, in response to Andy.c's comment I uninstalled 14.0.1 and reinstalled 13.0.1.
With FF13's default theme, the double-click problem still existed: F13, like FF14, displayed a full-screen instance rather than open a new tab.
But with FF13 re-installed, the FT SilverGlow 2.6 theme that FF14 rendered obsolete was once again usable. And after enabling that theme, double-clicking the tab bar once again worked.
So the issue isn't FF14, but rather something between TabMix Plus and FF's Default theme(?) Or so it seems based on my investigation.
So I'll be sticking with FF13 until the FT themes are updated or until I better understand the problem. (I've also contacted the author of the Tab Mix Plus extension with this information…)
