My website http://www.susanzoccola.com is not showing properly in firefox only, it's carrying and layering elements from one page onto the other pages.

When I open new images on my website in firefox rather than changing to a brand new image the images layer on top of the previously opened images. Also, when I switch back to the webpage from another (like this one) the black background disappears and instead the other webpage appears as the background. This does not happen in any other browser.

Sounds like a problem with the graphics display card.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Though I'll try your fix, thanks, I'm not so much worried about my computer, it's other people (potential customers) I care about, and a lot of people use Firefox. This problem happens on Firefox with pretty much everyone I know - not just on my computer. This problem does not occur with Chrome or Safari etc.

I'm not seeing any issues on Linux with those pages.

You can try to write more precise steps that give you that issue and maybe attach one or more screenshots.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Attaching screen shots, that I understand are similar to those found on other peoples computers (who have alerted me to this recurrent problem)

Don't see those options for fix in my Firefox "Tools". Help?

Such issues on Mac may be caused by images with an entirely black (#000000) colors for the background.

Does it help if you make the background not entirely back but use #111111 ?
