After setting the font property on the canvas context to "Arial Narrow", the context does not render text in the desired font. Other browsers (IE9, IE10, IE11, Chrome, Safari) all render Arial Narrow correctly. The css tricks people have mentioned on this site do not work with canvas. Here is a jsfiddle demonstrating the problem: http://jsfiddle.net/txymf/

Additional font properties like font-stretch:condensed may be required on Windows.

Your reply refers to css properties. My question is about HTML5 Canvas. Does anyone know if this bug will be addressed soon?
