Access Denied (when trying to log a new FF support Ticket)

more options

HI:

I am getting the "Access Denied - You do have permission to access this page" when i try to create a new ticket (ask question) in this forum (mozilla Support), when I use my account that I was using before.

So i created a new account, and no problems to create new ticket. In old mozilla Support account, i can update my open tickets. Just cannot add new tickets.

I have cleared cache, cookies, history. I created a new profile and the problem exists in both profiles.

where do i next look to solve this problem?

thankyou

I guess the easiest work around is to just continue using this account. If it helps change your user display name and the email address used.

I am not sure if it is possible to have two accounts that use the same email address. At present do your two accounts use a different email address ?

What is the display name & user profile used in the other account ?

Your current display name is helpplspen profile: /user/1064729

Hello i am terribly sorry but i find this kind of response not helpful. Because asking me question, in my perspective have no relevance to solving the root cause.

from an end user perspective --- its really bad if one gets an access denied to a support page, so you would want to sort out why, the root cause.

the question you listed is on this account. there are 5.

please lets focus on getting to root cause. thankyou

You failed to answer - What is the display name & user profile used in the other account ?

You have access to these support pages with the account you used to start this thread, why do you need a 2nd user account here?

i am terribly sorry, but what is not clear when i write: "I am getting the "Access Denied - You do have permission to access this page" when i try to create a new ticket (ask question) in this forum (mozilla Support), when I use my account that I was using before. "

if I could of logged a new ticket as I say in the old account that i was getting the Acccess Denied message, I would not of needed to create a new Account to log a new ticket. May I ask what is so confusing about this?

With the new support account, i could log a ticket. this ticket and i think 5 others. So yes, I am logging into the account that created the ticket. No problem.

And for the other long standing account, I can still login and I believe i shared, i can update post butnot add new tickets.

please explain what is so confusing?

and why no root cause help. I dont understand when 2 moderators reply and no root cause help.

I'm not confused. First off, there's no "tickets". You start a question thread and it is answered.

"Access denied" will happen with a deactivated / locked user account. That could be the "root cause". Better chance of answering that if we knew what the user account name is; we could consult that list.
