Everything I get from the NYTimes goes straight to my spam folder, which is not the case with Google Chrome. I've had a GEEK Squad tech try to fix the problem, but he couldn't. Is there any way I can solve this longstanding problem? (I get lots of emails from the NYTimes because I participate in their comment threads, where I check the box to be alerted when someone responds to my comment, but that all goes into my spa folder. It's frustrating!)

Icons look funny when I am on Chess.com If I use Microsoft edge on this same PC the site looks fine. But when I log in with Firefox the Chess.com website Icons look like symbols. This is some kind of extension issue? Look at the upper right corner of the screen shot I have attached. Thank you, HELP!

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

Gmail inform there is no internet connection. Amount of cookies is only 20 MB and cache is 80 MB. I have to enter my registration to the websites I visit quite often! I'm a Firefox user for over 20 years but planning to quit very soon.

I cannot sign in to the New York Times today; on their main page it will not allow me to sign in to my account. I have called them, and apparently it is Firefox that is the problem. I can connect to any and all other sites. I can connect and sign in to the NYTimes from my iPad as well, so I believe it is the version on my Windows 11 laptop that is the problem. I've cleared all cookies and history, restarted my computer, re-booted my modem even, and closed my VPN, all to no avail. I have version 129.0.2, and it is up to date. It was working yesterday just fine. Is there another update coming to correct this?

Running macOS 14.6.1 with Firefox V129.0.2.

Since I upgraded Firefox either to 129.0 or 129.0.1 (I didn't notice the issue immediately), it seems I can't access anymore any of the secondary search engines that appear when you click on the search windows. The default search engine is DuckDuckGo and, if I wish to ask it something, it is still correctly answers. However, if I want to ask to one of the secondary search engines (for example, Google, or the French or English Wikipedia), clicking on the icon of this engine doesn't produce any result anymore.

Please note that I also upgraded from macOS Sonoma 14.5 to 14.6.1 at approximately the same time I upgraded Firefox to 129.0.1. No idea if this has any bearing on the issue.

Is this a known issue? And, if not, has anybody any idea on how to troubleshoot it?

hello, I would like to recover my deleted Firefox history because this history is very important because it is related to my work, however I have tried a lot of methods to recover my deleted Firefox history as a backup copy, type ipconfig/displaydns , I also downloaded a lot of data recovery software but all these methods gave no results, so what I ask you please is to try recover my deleted Firefox history the days of july 20.21,2024 if you are unable to do this for me please help me contact Mozilla Firefox technical support, I would like to point out that the history I am talking to you about is very important so if you help me I will contact you will be very grateful, thank you for your understanding

I'm moving from an older laptop to a newer one. In the past, I used Sync to transfer bookmarks and other data from an older to a newer system. This time, however, Sync does not appear in the Settings pages. I found "Switching to a New Device" in the Help menu. It engages "Backup Assistant" to collect the data to be transferred (I assume). It first wants me to log in with my Mozilla account. If I enter my account identifier and click "Continue" I receive a "Waiting" graphic that never ends. If I pre-log in to my Mozilla account before engaging Back Assistant, it doesn't make a difference, it still waits forever.

In Chromium you can go a page backward or forward by swiping one finger to the left or right. This works really well. I have been missing this feature in Firefox for years now. Without it navigation in the browser is tedious on Linux tablets or phones.

Is something similar ever going to be implemented?

I have tried everything but my sites show up in microfonts and run off the page, examples are Amazon and Mailchimp. I then have to enlarge it and end up scrolling to the right to try and see the whole page. I went to the settings and changed fonts & font sizes but the problem remains. It drives me crazy and it is also time consuming. What am I not doing right or how can I resolve this?

I am trying to log in to my Wise account. The site loads and I have filled in my email and password but when I click on the Log in button nothing happens. On Microsoft Edge it works perfectly. I have had this problem on other sites recently. Roger

Hi, Hopefully someone can help. This started a couple of days ago. I'm actually trying to log in to my own account on Flickr. If I just input Flickr.com, the main front page loads, if I then go to log in, I get: "429 Too Many Requests You have sent too many requests in a given amount of time" on the screen. I've only hit enter once. As far as I can see this is the only site that does this BUT Youtube sometimes plays up, so maybe something is happening in the back ground with that. Might be totally unconnected.

I've tried using Opera (my main back up) and that loads my account just fine. I've tried turning off the extensions Adblock, No Script etc and the 429 error still pops up everytime I go to log in..

Any ideas? Anyone?

I recently updated to 129.01 (64bit). Now Firefox keeps crashing, especially when I am trying to fill out an online form. Does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve?

I keep getting a virus alert when in Firefox. I have scanned with every known scanner and Mcafee, with nothing found. BUT it keeps popping up as an alert. I get no alerts when in Microsoft explorer. HELP!!!
