Hello

I have tried all of options and guidelines to avoid this continuous crashing of flash content in Firefox. I am thinking of forgetting firefox and leave you guys with your policies.

It is a shame that this problem with tones of occurrence all over the world can not be solved. Why this does not happen with other browsers?

If there is a working solution, please let me know, but if you are going to repeat previous hints and tips, thanks and goodbye.

FYI. everything is updated to latest versions and flash keeps crashing and I am running crazy...

Kind regards Vafa

Shockwave Flash 13.0 r0 isn't the latest version. There have been 2 Flash 14.0 updates recently.

Keep in mind that IE uses the ActiveX version of Flash and Chrome uses the Pepper plugin; where Mozilla-based browsers, like Firefox, use the NPAPI version - Flash isn't same across the browser sphere.

Please update to the current Firefox 30 release.

  • Help > About Firefox

The Firefox 26 version that you currently run is no longer supported with security updates.

  • It is important to update Firefox and add-ons to the latest version to get all security fixes.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox 30.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

You can also check for plugins that require updating.

Try to set the Flash plug to click-to-play by setting the permissions for Flash to "Ask To Activate" in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins". That way you can activate the Flash plugin when you need it via the Lego block icon on the location bar.
