My OS is Windows 7 professional on x64 Since last update of Thunderbird (31.1.2), lightning (3.3.1) was reinstalled and also the Provider for Google Agenda (1.0.1). I had to delete in Thunderbird my google agendas (some events were duplicated, same as bug reported by other people), and recreate them. When reinstalling my agendas I could not select the "cache" item in calendar property : it has disappeared. But it is the only way I know to view the calendar off-line. How should I do ?

Chosen solution

This is now Bug 1081922. no off-line item for google calendars with Gdata provider version 1.0.1. Reintalling the previous version (0.32) and removing then reinstalling all google calendars in lightning "solve" the problem.

when I right click on a calendar and select properties the dialog contains an "Offline support" option.

On an other computer (also Windows 7 pro x64), I had to restart jus t now Thunderbird to install the updates (same than above). As soon as the new lightning and Provider for Google Agenda (1.0.1 instead of 0.32) are installed, I was immediatly asked to give again my google password (which I did) and immediatly after that the properties dialog no longer contains the offline option.

Note : I have thunderbird in French. Are lightning and the PGA different from the english version?

It lis maybe linged to Bug 1077410 except that I have Lightning 3.3.1. I don't know which module is responsible for the calendar properties dialog. Is it lightning or GDATA provider...

This has happened to a lot of people last week, it is a week since any version updates were installed and I still do not have access to my google calendar through thunderbird and lightning. It's pretty ridiculous that this has affected in a very similar way and nothing has been done about it apart from suggestions of reinstalling.

I have removed GDATA provider version 1.0.1 and re-installed the previous version (0.32). I experienced Bug 1079659 and had to remove my Google calendars from Thunderbird. I re-created them. The off-line item is avalaible again. It seems to work (at least on-line). I enter a bug in bugzilla for Gdata provide version 1.0.1, since the error is clearly related to the provider.
