firefox won't open; reinstall doesn't fix it
Mac running OS 10.8.5. Started Mac, firefox wouldn't open. Tried safe mode and reset, both just hung up. Deleted firefox, downloaded new firefox, restarted Mac and firefox, blank window opens and ball spins endlessly. Saw mozilla info on "corrupted profile" but don't see any "profile manager" on Mac. Help!

You can't open firefox's profile manager if firefox won't open. I reloaded a fifth time and for some reason it worked, I have no idea why.

Please a little help here...
Hello david!
I apologize that we haven't yet been able to respond to your question. I am not a Mac Owner, so I don't know what I will be able to do, however I will do some research and see what I can come up with. If you need to reach me personally, you can find my email on my profile.
Thanks, Matt H.
Hi davidmshore, I understand that after a reinstall and trying to launch Firefox in Safe Mode that it will not open. I also understand that a blank window opens and you have an endless loading.
You mentioned Profile Manager, but you did not see this either on the Mac. Use the Profile Manager to Create and Remove Profiles
You may need to remove the profile.ini file to launch the profile manager as well.
