Why is "redistributable" a spelling error in british?

I am on Ubuntu with wbritish and wamerican installed. I do not have English dictionaries installed as Firefox extensions. I do not use a custom dictionary. Firefox marks the word "redistributable" as a spelling error when the language is British but it accepts the word when the language is American. Why is that? Aspell marks the word as misspelt in both variants.

Firefox can detect installed Hunspell and Myspell dictionaries on your computer and use them automatically.

  • /usr/share/hunspell/
  • /usr/share/myspell/
