After clicking on a link in Google's search box or using the back button, to return to the previous page, the Google search box is blank.

To restore the contents I need to "refresh" the page.

This is very irritating when I want to revise the search wording.

I am not using any add-ons, except Flash if that is an add-on. Otherwise the browser is factory default.

This is a fairly recent problem (for maybe the past 2 months or so). It never happened before.

Correction, it happens AFTER I use the back button to return to the previous Google page or going forward to more Google pages for the same search.
