On both Firefox versions 35.0 and 35.0.1, the restore session option is selected but no longer restores sessions when restarted. Also the "enhanced" new tab features only blank windows, not the usual links with screenshots of frequently visited pages as in V 34.

Fixed it myself. If confronted with similar issue:

1. Uninstall Firefox 2. Reboot system 3. For Windows 7 users, go into C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData 4. Open \Roaming 5. Select Mozilla and delete folder. 6. Return to AppData folder. 7. Open \Local 6. Select Mozilla and delete folder. 7. Reinstall Firefox.

This deletes all old personal settings which may have been corrupted.
