Why can't I get some of my Yahoo newsfeed stories to open but yet on Internet Explorer they open just fine?

I've tried to read some of the stories sliding across my screen but some just come up a blank page, but yet on Internet Explorer, they open up just fine. I've got the latest version of Mozilla also.

Chosen solution

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
