Firefox will not open with previous session. Option automatically resets to default.
I set options to: "Show my windows and tabs from last time". But, when I start Firefox, it does not save this option and reverts to the default option. I've tired disabling add-ons and refreshing Firefox, but the problem still occurs. Troubleshoot report: Application Basics

Chosen solution
After reading several posts in the Support Forum I tried a solution. I deleted the "sessionstore-backups" folder. Please try this: click the menu button ≡ and then click help ? > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder". Then a new window will open up. In this window look out for a folder named "sessionstore-backups", delete this folder and restart firefox afterwards. The problem was resolved.
