Web developer Inspector without Console

more options

Hi there,

As a developer I use the Inspector (Tools -> Web Developer -> Inspector) a lot to find DOM-elements. And since I work with several different screen widths, I like the Inspector at the bottom of the screen.

Since of late, I seem to have an extra little Console-window when I start the Inspector. It's a bit hard to explain, so I added a screenprint.

I seem to remember (but am not completely sure!) that it wasn't there before, so I figured it has something to do with an add-on. But disabling all add-ons and restarting didn't solve the problem.

I've browsed through all the options and searched Google, but no luck. It's no biggie, but if there's a way to get rid of.....

Cheers,

Cees

You can toggle the Console panel on/off with the Escape key.

There is a toolbar button "Toggle split console" available in the Toolbox Options to hide or show the console.

I thought I tried the "Toggle console" option before, but apparently not, because it works!!

Thanks!!
