After my most recent upgrade of Firefox (37.0.2), I can no longer access my employer's employee information website.

I can access the page using the stock Safari Browser on my iPhone. I can open other secure(https) websites such as banking and/or credit-card without issue.

I have Cleared Cookies and Cache, both using Firefox tools->options->Privacy->Clear EVERYTHING

and CCLEANER, and restarted Firefox.

I am using No Proxy. I have tried in Safe Mode, with no success.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Please first check the certificate information of the webpage. If you click on the lock icon in the url bar the Page Info > Security page will open up. From here you can "View the Certificate."

This will indicate more detail of what may be wrong with the cert. I did not have any trouble connecting to the main page. It is possible to remove certificates from the cert managerConfiguration Options for Certificates

Thanks for your reply guigs2.

Since the page won't load, there is No "Lock" icon in the address bar. I have attached screenshots with all the information I think you asked for.

*EDIT* I am running Windows XP (sp3). I have seen similar issues where the suggested solution was to disable IPV6. I did this using the about:config method and setting the network.dns.disableIPv6 to TRUE, restarted FireFox, and still No Success.

Any Help? AnyBody!

I think I found the issue, it happens in version 38.0.1 in beta as well. The tls used in the certificate may be blocked. The network encryption used is in my previous screenshot.

In past versions the work around was to change the tls fallback version in about:config, however I would contact the admin of the site about the security of TLS 1.0 after the past few months of security vulnerabilities found.

Thanks again for you reply -

We are closer, but with a new hiccup.

I changed the security.tls.version.min value to 0 (zero) and the page loaded. I came back here to post the results, and the mozilla page wouldn't load.

It seems I have to toggle the security.tls.version.min value from 0 to 1 (zero to one) each time I change from one secure page to another.

EDIT Changing the security.tls.version.fallback-limit value to 1 (one) allows me to open both the Mozilla and Goodman pages.

Hopefully this will solve my problem without opening my system up to any unnecessary security threats.

I have attached a screenshot of the solution that worked for me. Perhaps this will help future visitors with similar problems.

Again, thanks guigs2 for directing me in the right direction!
