I have succesfully installed Thunderbird on my desktop. On my laptop (windows 7) however, Thunderbird is not working anymore. Installation works fine but account setup fails. Error message shows me wrong user name or password but it is the correct password and IMAP Setting. It used to work on this laptop, but after a format I cannot use Thunderbird anymore.

I've tried the Gmail app access and other imap codes etc. nothing works....

You may have to enable less secure apps in your Google account settings. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6009563?hl=en
