This began a few weeks ago- when I try to go to online banking or manage my credit card account or support.mozilla.org, Firefox goes to offline mode and will not connect to the site. I tried going to about:config and network.manage-offline-status, both true and false, which did not fix it.

Thank you! So far that seems to have solved the problem.
