A web-site that i access regularly using Firefox has been updated within the last 24 hours. i do i get Firefox to access the updated external site rather than the pre-updated site that is apparently stored on my cache?

Chosen solution

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Manually go to the site / page. Delete the old bookmarks / shortcuts. Create a new bookmark / shortcut.

I deleted the bookmark for the site, per the suggestion, and re-linked too kit. I still get the pre-updated web-page.
