I have used Firefox with MSE for years. Suddenly it will no longer update. Microsoft suggestion is to use Internet Explorer for browser.

Are others able to use MSE with Firefox? Any sugestions for my continuing to be able to use MSE with Firefox?

I have Firefox, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Norton. No conflicts.

Try removing, then re-install Security Essentials.
