What can I do about ad malware that opens or overrides tabs with many ads; including tech support services? Note: It is very difficult to contact Mozilla.

This problem occurs mostly wit Firefox. Multiple ads appear over open pages and new tabs are opened to promote different services and products. When I try to get help from Mozilla all I get are surveys or tech support ads from other companies. I have used Firefox for years and it seems that it is continuously deteriorating; as evidenced by many crashes, failures to allow pages to open, slow operations and multitudes of ads.

hi avaz, let's try a manual clean reinstall. please try navigating to the firefox program folder in windows explorer (most of the time that will be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox) and delete the whole folder.

afterwards download and install a fresh copy of firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools specialised in adware-removal like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
